Staffordshire Knocker

A heavy vintage brass door knocker featuring a Staffordshire bull terrier head, made in and purchased from the United Kingdom. There are a series of similar door knockers with the maker's mark "N.V.B." There are also reproductions which lack the maker's mark and generally have mounting holes located on the studded collar.
