In the collection of an Aldwick, UK, antique dealer for many years until its sale in 2016. Per the prior owner: "I believe I originally bought the painting from Bellman's Auction in West Sussex approximately 16 years ago, and I had it restored in Bognor Regis. The restorers are no longer there as I know the owner retired some time ago."
